watch for my post... coming up in about 30 secs.

More football, and poking at some technology.

more much-needed slacking, then heading out to food cart town for fried pies - Food Network is visiting!

Marathon sessions of World of Warcraft and Left 4 Dead 2. I live an exciting life.
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
I'm jealous Holly! That sounds like fun. As for me, might hang some curtains and clean up my guest room. Then some sort of bad Sat. night tv or maybe a movie. I'm with you on that exciting life thing Sean.
- Sarah June
Sean, Ive been knitting for 7 hours straight....talk about excitement
- Mary Carmen
I'm watching all of Season 3 of 30 Rock. Loser -->
- Jason Huebel
Went out to dinner with my sort-of-wife. Now I'm just hanging out alone at home.

Jason, watching 30 Rock makes you a WINNER every time. I'm eating some cheeseburgers I just made and catching up on some TV before my DVR explodes. So far, caught up on V, Dollhouse, and How I Met Your Mother. Now SYTYCD, then Fringe. Maybe a movie before bed if I have time.

I bought a screw today. That was the highlight of the day.
I like Oprah and everything. It's not that. It's just since I work during the day, I don't really pay much attention to what is on regarding daytime tv. And when I am sick and home during the day, I usually watch movies or sleep.

I'd like to go with a group of people to see Twilight and yell out things at different points like at Rocky Horror. I think that's the only way I could stand it.
Stopping at store on way home to pick up bubble bath and other items conducive to a good hot bath experience. Looking forward to soaking with a glass of wine and a good book.
"The driver of one of Miley Cyrus' tour buses was killed this morning, after the bus struck an embankment and overturned at approximately 8:15 a.m., the Associated Press reports. The accident occurred on Interstate 85 in Dinwiddle County, Virginia, as the bus traveled toward Greensboro, North Carolina, where the Hannah Montana star is scheduled to perform on Sunday."

Not that this is funny. Someone did die. Interesting that this was reported on the morning news.

MIRC was an IRC chat client that was popular with my LARP friends. It became a haven for lonely old men that always wanted to "cyber." In its defense, IRC is still useful for a good giggle if you check out bash.org.

Barry, there are no pictures, so unfortunately, it didn't happen.
- RAPatton
It didn't happen...but it sure sounded nice. I love a hot shower. Maybe I'll take a hot bath something this weekend. Haven't done that in a while.
- Sarah June
But RAP SHE SAID SHE GOT NEKKID. Besides, you're all figments of my imagination anyway.

Barry, she just said it didn't happen; you need to concentrate all your efforts on making certain that this hot bath she speaks of, the one planned for the weekend does happen and is solidified into reality with pictures

So, I'll be away for a bit until I find my happy again.
Just remember, what happens on FriendFeed, stays on FriendFeed (except those pages indexed by google, printed out, saved or screen captured)

Um, actually, now it gets on Facebook too. Last week I had to go in and make sure none of my family could see what I was posting on FF in case I needed to vent about what was going on while my mother was dying. I'm so glad the boyz do give us that level of granularity: you can go in by item, and specify by person who sees what.

I think the guy vacuuming in the library this morning is annoying the few people we have here. Mostly because he's being really slow. I don't think he wants to be vacuuming. I'm not annoyed personally, but I feel bad for the students who are trying to do research and work on school stuff.
My picks are the sauteed green beans with pecans and the squash apple bake. My husband will just have to cope with nuts in his beans.

Good morning to my lovely friends! It's Friday, the sun was out when I got up, I've got a tasty cuppa joe, and I'm looking forward to a nice weekend and seeing family next week. How is your day so far?
Good morning nice lady! So far I am enjoying my Friday. I am channelling my inner Hobbit and eating second breakfast. :D Hope your day is kick butt.
- aden (and junk)
:-) Glad to hear you're both having great Fridays!
- Sarah June
Happy is good. Even better is having my mental and emotional equilibrium restored. Made a very difficult sacrifice today, but it's what needed to be done for someone I love dearly.

These are some extremely nice/interesting FriendFeeders (Links above) There are many others... (sorry for the dozens of omissions), but follow them and you will soon find all the rest from there.
- SAM
I would just keep an eye out for people commenting on posts you comment on or like. That's a good way to find people with the same interests.
- Alan Simpson
Also, you could search groups for things you're interested in, then sub to people who are active on them.
- John (a.k.a. dendroica)
And most of us post about a lot of different things; the categorizations I did above are GROSS generalizations. Like Joey (SAM linked above, http://friendfeed.com/joeybean) had a really good thread on Gone With the Wind a couple of days ago. Alex posts about just about everything under the sun, as does RAP. So just poke around and check out the feeds of people whose comments you like as well.
- Jandy, ConcertMaven of FF
I agree with the way Jandy broke it down, it depends on your interests. You should find some people close to you, because they will have some overlap, then you should check out rooms and find people you enjoy that way. But here are few people I would recommend: Jandy for film and concerts (http://friendfeed.com/faithx5), Fossil Huntress for Palentology, hiking, kayaking and travel...
