Yes, I remember when you got called out a few months back for not participating. It was me that called you out. I refer to that, now deleted post, as "The Emperor's New Clothes" post. After I was condemned for daring to ask why cewebrity accounts on FriendFeed were given such an inordinate amount of attention considering there's no reciprocation on the part of the poster, my question was met with near universal disdain from some of FriendFeed's most active participants. The issue that I think galled me the most was the assertion that somehow I was chasing away potential A-Listers by calling attention to the fact that parking one's services on FriendFeed was not equal to participating in the conversations that develop around them. I still think it's sad when I see a new user asking questions or affirming the opinion of some Internet luminary only to be rebuffed by the fact that that person doesn't actually visit the site and hasn't in the last 6 months. So, am I in any way vindicated for asking the question? The answer lies in how valuable you, Sarah Lane, feel the exchange can become. Robert Scoble knows the value; same with Veronica Belmont. Leo Laporte has certainly learned that there's value here and he talks about FriendFeed often. Michael Arrington, not so much. - Christopher Harley
