My weekend in NYC and New Jersey was fun but action-packed and exhausting. I'm pretty sure the moment when I woke up this morning and realized I still had an hour before my alarm was going off was among the happiest of my adult life.
Up way, way, WAY too early on a Saturday. But I'm heading to NYC for a night of fun, so I guess that makes it mostly ok. So long as Jon lets me sleep in the car!!
Wow, for the first time ever I think Facebook got my contextual ads perfect: A community managers unconference, a social media marketing book, and a Coach sale! Well played, Facebook...well played.
Facebook Pet Peeve: Getting the same "So and so suggests you become a fan of Whatever!" updates. If I ignore your fan request once, it's because I don't want to become a fan. Repeatedly asking me is a one-way ticket to defriendville, ESPECIALLY if you're a person that I don't even really know.
After stuffing my face over the long weekend and vowing to do better this week, Jon tells me he wants to make "Thanksgiving leftover calzones" for dinner tonight. FML.
Must learn to never doubt the guy at the Genius Bar--sure he was annoyingly condescending, but what he told me to do with my iPhone to fix my horrid battery issues actually seems to have worked!
Not really sure what to do with this last afternoon of Thanksgiving break. Kind of tempted to do nothing. Too bad there's no food in the house. WHY are all the leftovers at Jon's? Hmmm.
