I want to quit reading the article after the first paragraph. - Jason Shultz from twhirl
Or you could get a Mac j/k :) - David Risley
Mildly interesting. I never want to port win to nix or vice versa though. I just use a seperate machine for both OSes. - Ian May
Yea, yea but OSX works -too- well out of the box. What if you need to fix things? - Steve Spalding
@Ian less of a port and more of a merge I'd say. I have a few things that I absolutely need Cygwin and the like for, but not hardly enough of them to justify a new machine or a switch-over. For me, this is a perfect compromise. - Steve Spalding
@Steve on my work desk here I've got a win XP box, and a Linux Box right next to it. The Linux box was actually used as a P4 driven win2000 server at one time, and putting Ubuntu on it gave it a new lease of life. - Ian May
I was thinking about doing that with an old box, and I just might go through with it. I have an old XP box that has seen better days, - Steve Spalding
@Jason pointed out http://www.launchy.net/ . Any other additions to the list? - Steve Spalding
