@eMusic doesn't have Trollope's "The Way We Live Now." Got @FBReader and ePub copy. But can't read & drive! www.gutenberg.org/etext/5231
Finally found seasonal flu vaccine. Drove 30 miles to Palm Springs. It's available closer, but www.google.com/flushot didn't know that.
Drove through Joshua Tree Nat'l Park. Not as desolate as you think: www.urlzr.mp/00/2668 Now in La Quinta for Thanksgiving with family.

@pfraddico, go for it! Yankees make better pilots. Find an instructor who knows Grummans. Check Pilot Proficiency Program from www.aya.org.
I welcome Bing/Murdoch deal: Let 'em try it, if only to test our beliefs about the inkernets. If they fail, great. If not, we must re-think!

Kanab, UT, to Prescott, AZ, via Marble Canyon and Jerome, almost all on 2-lane US89A. Highest elevation 8,000. Wow. www.urlzr.mp/00/2665

@trentlarson, thanks for your interest. Here are my comments to ACHP on Hangar One: www.nuqu.org/6 Still waiting for OMB arbitration.
Listening to weekly Norman Bates Memorial Soundtrack Show on www.kfjc.org over @DroidLive. Works, but funky UI. @StreamFurious didn't work.
Lehi to Kanab, Utah today. Finished listening to "Persuasion," $10 from @eMusic. Audible charges less, but uses DRM incompatible with Droid.

They told Craig Burton, "What?! Mash up Acxiom with #Kynetx? Acxiom's the data Antichrist!" Burton's reply: "Perfect."
Brief chat with Craig Burton, a Novell co-founder, after #Kynetx dinner. Fun to reminisce. I co-founded a local Novell User Group in '86.
Against all odds, good coffee in Provo, at @Kynetx Impact.
Arrived in Lehi after long drive up I-15 with beautiful scenery and perfect weather. Drove this same route in June. It kinda never gets old!
Departing Barstow soon for Lehi, Utah, just down the road @Kynetx Impact conference in Provo. @sbwsty's new transmission in nice and quiet!
New transmission installed, off to Barstow with @sbwsty!
@benadida, yeah, Droid confused me for about 5 minutes. But after that, the cross-app consistency (behavior of 4 buttons) is enjoyable!
Suprised @benadida finds Droid a "usability mess." I'm pretty happy with mine, and I'm usually very critical of usability gaffes.
Pandora radio and www.Pseudopod.org kept me company on the drive down to Los Osos from Oakland. Planning to depart for Provo tomorrow!
In the seven days I've had my Droid, I've used about 0.75GB (not including WiFi). That's close to my laptop usage via MiFi (4GB last month)!
Just created @sbw/vehicles list. (Is that how you link to lists?) They're also over at www.fuelly.com/driver/sbw.
SJ Mercury News quotes me on Hangar One: Navy still plans to strip the hangar next spring, even with no plan to re-skin it. www.nuqu.org/5
Still No Explicit Assurance from the Navy - http://www.nuqu.org/2009111...
@windley, ok, ok, I registered! I'll drive @sbwsty from the Pacific to Provo to mash up @Ribbit with @Kynetx next week. http://kynetximpact.eventbrite.com/
Garmin makes special GPS for motorcycle, but, wow: Google Nav voice prompts via Bluetooth earbuds make Droid an excellent 'cycle navigator!
Google Nav's great w/car kit, but went back to Nüvi: Big screen, ease of use, traffic rerouting. Both on dash now: Droid for audio & search.
Whew. Took @sbwsty St. Helena to the peninsula today, @sbw550K to OAK, BART/AC Transit back. Then www.nuqu.org/4, now to Santa Cruz.
