Yup, I've been an Exposure fan from Day One, and it can still do some things the web version can't - maps/location, etc. Other apps (Flickup, Klick, etc.) can do some of those things, but I'm sure an "official" Flickr app would rock heavily. :-) - Josh Bancroft

There were facts but there was also this 'must act now' tone that reminds me of the war. It's amazing how much more effective he was last night as a communicator when he used facts, explained the idea in detail, and showed some genuine sensitivity. - Ryan

It was a well written overview and description of the state of things -- while not disclosing how dire things became last thurs, and while skipping over root causes and the impact of complex financial instruments. But it didn't feel like a Bush speech so much as a verbal powerpoint. This was something he couldn't have written himself. But that mona lisa smile at the end of it was 100% Bush -- that tic of his that makes you wonder if he understood what he just communicated! - Adrian Chan

It's not good or bad but the way it is. Unfortunately for those people who post stagnight photos and the like on Facebook etc on public pages, anyone can look at them. I think the point was that the likes of Linkedin and Facebook represent you like a resume does today. I agree though that as one attracts more subscribers, that should count for something, unless you're just shoveling poop. I agree with WoH that one should always be aware of the remnants of what you leave on line, but I add that one should always be cognizant of what one says or does anywhere, online or off, and not because it might be used against you should you ever run for President ;). - Greg

From what I've seen, Anonymous ISN'T claiming responsibility. The person who sent the screencaps to Wikileaks claimed to be with Anonymous, but every Anonymous board I checked said they had nothing to do with it. They really are pretty loose-knit, and anyone can join, but it definitely wasn't planned or something the "group" as a whole is claiming credit for. - Cyndy

this version has nothing to do with iPhone. and I wouldn't be so sure that updating the Maps app on iPhone requires a firmware update. although it probably is in Apple's best interest to withhold for one so as to create another round of hype centered on them not Google. - Jon Price
