They host this kind of thing at the Foothill College in Los Altos Hills sometimes

They are hosting Code Camp there on 10/3-10/4. Dont' know how much (if any) they charge.

I really am trying to get a place in the city, rather than down the peninsula. The organizers are pretty clear they want it in SF, but I will take what I can find.

Haha. There's a Microsoft office on Powell next to the SF Centre. They host the SF .Net meetings, but I'm not thinking they'd be so open-minded to host a Palm Pre developer camp -- it doesn't run Windows Mobile, does it?

Ok, so it runs the Palm Web OS. So much for the MSFT office. I probably should have known that, but I've been sitting in this chair for 16 hours trying to push something for our next release and I'm hitting the end of my tether. Hope you find somewhere that works for you!

Hey it happends, I am going to the palm meetup tomorrow going to ask pivotal labs ask they have built a number if pre apps. Maybe I should give adobe a try as the pre will have flash and the make the best design tool for it (fireworks best design tool for any screen) any other companies in the soma or that area that might be willing to host?

I can offer a 2600 sq. ft. gallery space on the border of the Mission and Potrero Hill here in SF (http://www.goforaloop.com/). Definitely not corporate but a unique spot with easy access to BART and US-101.
