@boredcollegekid dumb to do what? It was dumb to autofollow. Who you follow defines you. Autofollowing got me lots of bots and spammers.

It wasn't dumb to auto-follow. It is now dumb to auto-follow. The surface of Twitter has changed.

Way back when, you defended autofollow, saying people who followed you were interested in you, thus value.

Robert, makes sense. I autofollowed for about 3 weeks. It took more effort to deal with the spammers I autofollowed than if I just did some evaluation up front.

BCK: I'm finding that these days, I'm using FF to follow conversation and Twitter to make conversation. It's much easier for me to find what I'm interested in on FF than it is on Twitter.

@Robert let's leave the charades aside. You've autofollowed on purpose (as others did it too) to get you up on the followers rankings. And you're not the first coming up with an explanation for unfollowing. Anyways all you've done was just gaming the system.
