Never try to lead people. It doesn't work. Better off building and guiding a team. If you can organize a team that works well together, you'll spend less time trying to hold the team together and more of your energy guiding them and being productive. Treat every team member with respect. If you don't listen to them, they will not listen to you. Keep your ego and temper in check. It helps to think of them all as being at least one rung above you. Since your success will depend on them, they actually are. Have well defined goals for the group, and a plan for getting there. Make sure the team knows the goals and what their part will be in achieving them. It's hard for people to do things well, when they have no clue what it is that they are supposed to be doing. Keep your expectations real. Your team members, no matter how talented, are only human...not super-heroes. Above all, remember that unity is one of the most important things.
