santiromero I will need three phones no matter what I do. One for talking and photos. One for Web. One for video. :-)

begs the question, why not a dedicated camera instead?
- rob zand
got the Kingston external iPhone battery. Works great.
- Bob Blunk
Rob: name a dedicated camera that can use the cell phone network to instantly upload photos. I have a Canon 5D too. It's nice, but I gotta hook that up to a computer, drag the photos off, then upload them. Hard to do when you don't have wifi or a cell phone connector.

so basically best of breed per use case. makes sense for what you do. 1 sim or 3?
- rob zand
@RobertScoble get an Eyefi, it'll upload the pics as soon as you take them

Scoble, Don't you have one of those EVDO Wireless Access Point Devices? You could always do Eyefi -> EVDO Wifi Access Point -> Flickr. Assuming those Access points can work on batteries.

Rob I have three sims. Shawn: that all doesn't fit in my pocket.
- Robert Scoble
You could also make the N95 a moving access point using a free software package that's out there. While that solves the eyefi problem it doesn't solve the streaming video problem. Don't know if the eyefi also uploads video from a point and shoot camera?

Having experimented with a couple of them yesterday, the Lenmar pocket charger I used on my Blackberry also had a tip for the iPhone and worked well. It's slightly thicker than a credit card but fits in your shirt or jeans pocket and gives 4 or 5 juices.

I'm starting to wonder whether the battery gauge isn't calibrated all that well on a new iPhone and whether the battery life isn't somewhat longer than the gauge would lead you to believe. I've been trying to run my battery all the way down, and an hour ago my phone warned me that only ten percent battery capacity was remaining. I've been wifi-ing, location-ing, and youtube-ing like crazy since then, and it's still running.
