is it really news sharing if it's private and limited? I understand the value, but that's not "news sharing" in the Business of Media sense of the idea. You're speaking about something different. (btw, my thoughts go out to your family; I can't imagine the feelings - I hope you take my point as general + not specific)

News = information to be shared & discussed when possible

Sure, which is just like what CNN (and other media companies do) in reporting. My issue is saying MY private groups are news; YOUR reporting is not.
