Plus we've had our same room the entire time, it has a couch and now a cot (never had that at Stanford) and it's soundproofed. At Stanford we shared rooms for a time. This is MUCH better.

Our daughter was born in 1991, just before our local hospital introduced the whole "same room the entire time" concept. Glad that you guys were able to get it!
