"Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says she'd come out ahead if she went one-on-one with fellow jogger President Barack Obama in a long run, according to an interview published online Tuesday. "I betcha I'd have more endurance," she told Runner's World magazine. "My one claim to fame in my own little internal running circle is a sub-four marathon" in Anchorage, she said, referring to her 2005 sprint in the Humpy's Marathon in which she beat the four-hour mark by 24 seconds. "What I lacked in physical strength or skill, I made up for in determination and endurance," she said."

WHY IS SHE STILL TALKING??? This is actually rather pathetic. I don't care if she wants to talk about running to RW, but to sound like a 6 yo on the playground while talking about the POTUS is just...lame.

Really??? Did anyone actually read the interview? It's a throwaway question at the end of a 5 page interview, which she answers with a pretty simple, straightforward explanation, and the Huffers run to Obama like a pack of kids trying to create a fight in the school yard: "Barry, she said she could beat you! She said she could beat you! You're not gonna let a GIRL talk about you like that, are you?"

She ran a 4-hour marathon 4 years ago - trust me, that doesn't mean she can run one now. Besides, our President has more important things to do than race the soon to be ex-governor of a thawing tundra.

I've figured out how Sarah Palin would beat Obama in a road race - she'd run half the race and declare victory because she's a fighter, not a quitter.
