"Honestly, it might be personal taste, I'm not the world's foremost bourbon taster. I just found it more complex. More fruity flavors like apple and banana paired with the vanilla, and a really nice finish that reminds me of the smell of lumber. It's a great dram, often impresses friends...whereas even OP said it took 5 drams to really get a feel for this bourbon."
