I struggled with much of what is discussed in this eBook about Media Centers and in the end, I went with a Vista Media Center PC and an HP MediaSmart Connect Media Center Extender. I couldn't be happier. It performs very well, and there are no monthly fees like I had with my TiVo. I can even run up to 5 media center extenders from my one computer.
