Easy if you're an expert, tough if you're a novice. It just happened that one of the top threads on the forums displayed on the front page of pcsupport.toshiba.com was about the SD card and W7. Although the driver wasn't specifically for my Toshiba model, I bet they'd used the same supplier for the SD drive (Texas Instruments) throughout their lineup, and I was right. The funny part of...

I have to say, HP has some robust Win7 driver support.

toshiba only supports win 7 for computers purchased after 2007. if you have an older machine you're on your own.
