@edsu i guess #bookserver is only marginally useful to me if there's no programmatic way to get at the stuff at this point

That word is OpenPub, which seems to be an Atom-based sydication format for books http://code.google.com/p... #bookserver
Learned one other thing -- #bookserver seems to like Adobe DRM for "lending" -- and people cheered instead of jeered at this?!?!
The cloud with various book publishing and reading clients, sort of like the web, was anti-informative. #bookserver
However, I learned zilch from the #bookserver parade. Unless I missed something they could have uttered one word and gone back to drinks.
