I hate Facebook. I really really do. #heyzuckerberg #eatmyass #fixyourshit
mmmm ass - Matthew DeVries
Herzeleid: it's all yours. Mainly because you are the only person who can apparently get it to work consistently. - tinypants - Hagitha of FF
I love FB, but it drives me crazy, too. The other day my feed was crazy out of whack! It had most people hidden and I couldn't "do" anything b/c everytime I clicked somewhere, I would get a window saying that people were hidden from my news feed. Doh! Great when it works, maddening otherwise. - Jenny R.
Ugh. Facebook is awful. The only reason I'm there is because if I wasn't, I'd never hear from most of the people I know. Their interface is crap, their account management and customization tools are crap, their ability to not suck at least once a day is crap. I've never liked Facebook and I don't think I ever will because they've done nothing but continually disappoint. - tinypants - Hagitha of FF
I don't have a problem with Facebook. Yes, there are some things that are annoying, but once you put in the effort to carve the experience into what you want it is all good. - Mathew™ one of a kind
I've carved far more than I should have to. Carving doesn't change their poor interface and poor controls. - tinypants - Hagitha of FF
Remind me not to defend FB any time soon. I went to post a link just now and I was told that my account was temporarily unavailable due to site maintenance. One good deed deserves...a kick in the ass. - Jenny R.
Ok, 1) The interface really isn't that bad. It is much better then it used to a couple years ago. But, what don't you like about it? 2) Websites go down for maintenance all the time. And the bigger they are the more likely they are to have server issues. Hell, even my company has issues with servers going down at times or databases going wacky and we don't have any clients nearly half as big as Facebook. - Mathew™ one of a kind
It gets old having an issue with Facebook Every. Single. Day. No joke. There hasn't been a day that's passed in the last...god...year? Two years? when I haven't logged in to Facebook and had something ridiculous or buggy occur. And this is in multiple browser types, which I guess is nice because at least it shows Facebook is nothing if not consistent. And the interface? It's messy. Yes,... more... - tinypants - Hagitha of FF
Oh. It's a moment of rejoicing...I'm finally able to open an Inbox message that I've been attempting to open for TWO WEEKS. I guess there's something to be said for an extended weekend of Facebook issues...I finally got to read my message. Trust me...I really do want to like Facebook. REALLY. Not joking. But. I need to be made to feel like I'm still an individual and not just another user plugged into a little cubicle of information farming. - tinypants - Hagitha of FF

What Amanda said. All of it. But what's the deal with Facebook Lite? Is that a website or a mobile app? Supposed to be a lot better. EDIT: lite.facebook.com is a website. - Laura Norvig
Hahahahah ahahahaah glad its not just me. - J. Abdul-Qahhar
At first when they went to the new profile layout I wasn't too big on it. And then I realized. Hey, I don't have to see everyone else crap on their profiles. Which brings me to those crap apps. Those are pretty easy to ignore. Because if someone is sending you invites, you can just block invites from those apps. Unfortunately it takes some work to do so, but you can mold Facebook to be... more... - Mathew™ one of a kind
I like FB, but it does have some periods which are buggier than others - they do manage to keep the whole site from going down, almost all of the time. I really like FB Lite: http://lite.facebook.com/ - Kurt Starnes
I suppose if I thought about Facebook, I might despise it. #CASABLANCAquote #idontlikefacebook #kissmygluteusmaximuszuckerberg - Steven Perez
Mathew, you're not telling me anything I don't already know. I've managed Facebook to the nth degree and it still bites my bottom dollar. It's less social networking, more "let's do annoying shit online". And I never had a problem with seeing everyone else's crap on their pages because that reflected their personality and what it is they wanted to put out there to others. It was far... more... - tinypants - Hagitha of FF
And let me just take a moment to say that I don't mean to imply in any way that my poor opinion of Facebook reflects anything on you and how you are as an online user. You just have a greater ability to tolerate it than I do. :) - tinypants - Hagitha of FF
...but tell us how you really feel! ;-p - .LAG liked that
Much like Friendfeed, I think the experience can be highly variable depending on who you've friended/followed. The UI is kind of sucky, although the lite version is a little more tolerable. When it actually works for me, it's actually not too bad. But Facebook has been excessively crashy for me lately, both in its lite form and in its bloated form. I thought the FF team would've fixed that by now. - Victor Ganata
Some of it is in who you follow but, with all of the games and assorted apps/add ons facebook is like a really bad ass Myspace. - J. Abdul-Qahhar
I'm forcing myself to get used to it for obvious reasons. Still hate it compared to FF though. - David Cook
I try and try but still can't stand it. - Kol Tregaskes
me too - Anna Haro
