For me it worked pretty much out of the box. I got a MiniDisplayPort to HDMI dongle with USB audio, and after initial setup with a monitor I plugged it in and it worked with the stereo system. I moved my Drobo over next to it and now have my primary iTunes master (1.8TB) directly connected to my TV, with all the other computers in the house acting as clients with home sharing. - Sparky
