1. What's your Twitter follow policy? Do you auto-follow if people follow you? If they tweet about you? 2. What's your Twitter unfollow policy? Do you unfollow if they tweet too much? Tweet too much nonsense? #smlask#twitter#socialmedia
I look for people to follow who are using twitter for sharing their ideas, thoughts and otherwise interesting anecdotes, etc. rather than as a pure auto blog post of their website. (website blog posts to twitter feed).
- TrafficBug
Because Twitter doesn't really have any filtering capability as FF does, I only follow people whom I REALLY find interesting. And no, I don't unfollow if they tweet too much

"When is some information too much information? When it can impede scientific progress, according to Roberto Trotta of the Imperial College London. He's worried that if we know too much at once, we'll be unable to create new theories. Trotta's concern is mainly focused on information from the European Space Agency's Planck mission, due to be released in 2013. The amount of information - called "a feast" by New Scientist - may overwhelm cosmologists, according to Trotta, who feels that the release of the mission's findings should be rationed to be more easily understandable."

@LinkedIn ok so I just went to your settings page and I don't see the "Update my heading to xxxx" setting. Link? #smlask - http://twitter.com/LinkedI...
"@smluniverse You can uncheck the box that says "Update my heading to XXXX" when putting in a new position so that way we don't update it."

Yikes, this is a bit old; and if you see the HN post that Mike linked, you'll see that the guys who made this used it really for practice only; it's not operational or running at all now. It (Tornado) *is* being used in Qwisk (the startup they founded) http://qwisk.com

"Canon's WFT-E5A Wireless File Transmitter (WFT) is designed exclusively for EOS 7D Digital SLR cameras. The WFT-E5A provides professional photographers a wide range of digital connectivity options including IEEE802.11a/b/g and Ethernet, ideal for commercial and studio work. The WFT-E5A wireless file transmitter opens the door to new possibilities in remote and Geotagged shooting applications. Photographers can fire up to 10 cameras simultaneously from across the room or across the country while maintaining control over camera settings and remote live view on a laptop or smart phone. The WFT-E5A wireless transmitter can also transfer and display images on DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) compatible televisions and photo frames. Geotagging is now possible via Bluetooth, using compatible GPS devices to append coordinate data to the images."

@Zee C+Ped here in case you have no interest in clicking: "思 (pronounced ‘see’) is composed of two parts: 田 and 心. 田 is a pictogram and it means an agricultural field. 心 is a pictogram as well. It means heart. Putting both together means putting your heart on your field. The character 思 means to analyze and to think 明 (pronounced ‘ming’) is composed of two parts: 日 and 月 日 is the sun 月...

I'm not sure if I'm going to post the final video or not. It feels very personal.

I thought that YouTube for personal videos? :) Vimeo is for professional audience... though I guess that culture is changing slowly since Google acquired them...
- See-ming Lee 李思明 SML
No, I mean personal in a sense I may not want to share it with the public. It's a 95% transparent look at my personal life, as well as much of Tyler's.

Takes up a lot of space and are you really ever going to go back and look at it?
- Rochelle
It's not that much space - a gig every few months at most. I occasionally load it into a movie and look at it as a reminder of what I've done recently.

Isn't that what your brain is for? Remembering things?
- Akiva Moskovitz
I trust my Drobo more than I trust my brain ;) it's a journal of sorts for me.

been thinking of getting a mini but not sure about how much i need on the config to get a usable system. Thoughts? #smlask
- See-ming Lee 李思明 SML
For me it worked pretty much out of the box. I got a MiniDisplayPort to HDMI dongle with USB audio, and after initial setup with a monitor I plugged it in and it worked with the stereo system. I moved my Drobo over next to it and now have my primary iTunes master (1.8TB) directly connected to my TV, with all the other computers in the house acting as clients with home sharing.

What is Twilight anyway? Heard the term everywhere but no idea what it is - tv show? new social network? Pardon my ignorance in advance. #smlask
