"The onus is on you to not share, but it looks way Facebook is implementing it now it seems like anything shared to the timeline like Spotify is shared automatically and persistently. I would be somewhat happy with it if it was a bit more granular and I could omit sharing some things. Not sure that is possible at this point. I guess the other option is to share each track or artist by hand the good old fashion way using Spotify and use the LIKE button when sharing articles for instance. I havent played with it enough to see if content is shared in the same way and shows up both in the ticker and timeline in the same fashion." - Adam Helweh
