Yesterday I spent a lot of time tweaking Ubuntu so it worked in a manner similar to OS X, with really good results. I'm thinking about doing the OS X -> Ubuntu switch completely (I've been a casual user for a while). The one blocker? No decent photo editing app.
I want lightroom but Adobe likes to pretend Linux doesn't exist so thats not happening any time soon. Is there a good photo post processing app I don't know about floating around out there? Please don't mention Gimp because I may have to come and take your drugs away and you don't want that, right? - EricaJoy

It's a design program made, designed, and user tested by developers, and is missing a good 90% of the features, workflows, and metaphors of the products it intends to compete with. Oh, and since it's open source and nobody's really getting paid to do it (and thus, it's not driven by market demands), there's no way to plan or build a business around its development.
