Every advertising supported app should also have a lets say $10 dollar (maybe thats too much I don’t know) option to remove ads. It’s a better monetizaiton option. Why? Because you were not going to make money off me anyways with ads… I’ll never click on them. So at least make some money off me. - http://log.sethrubenstein.info/post...

What I’ve been saying all along. The Xbox One the PS4 are the last consoles you’ll ever buy thanks to the cloud.
We have not seen this in the past. That a budget is contingent on us eliminating a program that was voted on, passed by both chambers of Congress, ruled constitutional by the Supreme Court, is two weeks from being implemented, and helps 30 million get health-care coverage. - http://log.sethrubenstein.info/post...

The next game in Epic Games and Chair Entertainment’s popular Infinity Blade series is coming to iOS.

Chair Entertainment’s Donald Mustard took the stage at today’s Apple event to unveil “the epic conclusion of the Infinity Blade trilogy” running on the newly announced iPhone 5S, which Mustard said is “five times faster than the iPhone 5.” The game will utilize the new OpenGL ES 3.0 graphics library spec, bringing a new level of fidelity to the Infinity Blade series, including “lens flares that would make JJ Abrams proud.”

I for one love the Infinity Blade franchise its the triple A of triple A on iOS. The new graphics abilities of the 5s are just I think one final step to bringing Xbox 360 level graphics. I feel like 1 more upgrade to the A7X or A8 is going to really be amazing. Couple that with the new controller API support, PS Vita and Nintendo are doomed.

In the United States of America, this shining beacon of democracy for all the free world to model itself upon, here is how we elect members to our Congress: we eschew public campaign financing, and ensure that the candidate with better funding almost always wins, thereby allowing elections to more or less be directly purchased by powerful... - http://log.sethrubenstein.info/post...

It makes sense that with the toppling of secular dictatorships the Middle East turned to Islamist Democracies. Now though it seems they realize their mistake and that an Islamist Democracy can’t truly exist. In exchange now hopefully they will create stable secular democracies and even more hopefully turn to secularism in a real way.

July 4, 1776: The United States Declares Independence

On this day in 1776, the Continental Congress of the United States approved the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Declaration formally declared independence from Great Britain. Within days, the Declaration of Independence was adopted by all 13 colonies and formally signed by 56 members of the Continental Congress.

Although the Declaration of Independence was signed and adopted, the United States formally became an independent nation when the Treaty of Paris was signed in 1783.
