Slightly chewy, corn meal covered crust. We had about a third of the loaf left over and I left it too long so it was a little stale. Tonight I melted butter in a pan and toasted one side of the bread, then sprinkled that side with garlic. I used the bread as hamburger buns...DOOD, YUM! - Shannon - GlassMistress
