Have you seen the Rubbermade Bento boxes (storage boxes not lunch boxes)? I saw them at Target last night and thought they were really kind of brilliant http://www.amazon.com/Rubberm...
I'm so confused! I have PDF files on my iPad that open in iBooks. Most of them are tutorials and arrived to me via email. When I try to send myself a PDF (from an Excel file) it arrives as windat and will neither open or move to iBooks. Did something change or have I lost my mind?
That fixed it! You rock! I looked on line and got all this you need an app business - blech.

You're very welcome! I had that link squirreled away from the last time that happened ;)

I'm taking iron per my doc's instructions. I like the little pill. It feels silky slick, its a pleasing shape, and it goes down easy. It, however, does NOT like me.
usually they suggest another pill to take with it... dare i say stool softener?
- Yvonne
I hate iron supplements. I take a stool softener and an antacid with them.
- Mary Carmen
I definitely have to take them with food otherwise I feel sick to my stomach. And metamucil helps with the constipation.

Another new bracelet closure and I sure dig this one. Its not much for added decoration but its super easy to use, low profile and comfy. Bonus, its magnetic so its easy to open / close one handed. Just slip the notch over the tab and the magnet does the rest.
Tonight I will make a Target run, stop at my dad's to check on the house (he's out of town), pull two bags of weeds, straighten my work table and make a couple of bracelets before I put my feet up.
Oh wow. I love that. LOVE IT. The great blue heron is my mother's favorite bird (well, it's a tie between that and pelicans). She would love this bead!
- Hookuh Tinypants
Thanks! I was pretty happy with it, but I'll still try again. His beak really needs to be yellow but the black overpowered it and is showing up from underneath. You should show your mom this blue heron bead, she'd flip :D https://www.etsy.com/listing...

Feeling pretty accompolished this morning. Caught up on Friday's emails, cleand out / organized the mailing center in my office, paid two bills, got a security hold on my credit due to some fradulent activity, spoke to the doc's office about my revisit, took photos for five new shop items and got myself to work on time.
Good morning and welcome to 2013, the year of more and less: more home cooked meals and less processed food, more small shopping and less malls, more saving and less spending, more treadmill and less couch, more outside and less in, more organized and less clutter, more ahhhh and less grrr! Happy New Year everyone!
First month update: More home cooked meals - yep. Cooked almost every night, reduced processed food (but still used canned tomatoes, stock, and the Friday night frozen pizza). More small shopping - didnt really do any shopping this month ... which helped with the more saving. More treadmill - actually more road work .. which also helped with the more outside. More organized .. well, got rid of lots of stuff but havent arrived at organized yet. More ahh ... miserable failure, really stressful month. Overall I'd give myself a B+. How'd you do on your resolutions?
- Shannon - GlassMistress
Good for you! :) To restore balance to the universe, I'm eating more processed food, going to malls more, spending more, and have more clutter. However I've been outside more and indoors less so we need someone else to pitch in. ;)
- Amit Patel
Second month update: Still more home cooking than processed, also more fresh veggies - yay. I did a little small shopping - glass tools and supplies from Etsy - and some big shopping, Sephora. More treadmill - not so much, but I'm under an aerobic ban for a bit longer due to the vein proceedures. I will say I've lost 17 lbs since Jan 1st so that's good. More organized - nope and didnt...

Third month update: Crazy month, MAN out of town, then laid off, then rehired. There was some home cooking but I admit I relied on several processed things to get dinner done. Shopping - dont remember doing much other than groceries. Treadmill - natch, lazy Shan was lazy but I did reach the 20lb lost mark so thats a small victory (3lbs in one month not so much). Stress ... through the roof, camping was my only ahhh but it was wonderful. Grade D. I've got to get my shit together.

Can we pretend April didnt happen? ... 'cause it was damn near a total fail.
- Shannon - GlassMistress
Yes. "Move it May" is what I'm calling it over here. Move all the things (declutter). Move the body more. Move the mind, read more? Therapy more!

Really I'm not, I'm still learning. You should see some of the true artists..they'd knock your socks off.
- Shannon - GlassMistress
And, as for the studio folks .. A bunch of retired people that took up painting and labeled themselves artists. It's an 'in you face' kinda thing. Not very lady like of me :-)

My martini might be hitting a little harder than usual ... Might have a little anesthesia still on board.
Doc wants me down, with my feet up today ... On a Friday...shame ;-). In other news I'd complain more about my sore throat and the Charlie horse in my calf than I would about how my belly feels, win!
That would be easier to do if I felt really bad. I just feel a little meh, no specific pain, and I slept well.
- Shannon - GlassMistress
You need to rest! You feel ok now, but if you overdo it you'll really regret it. You have doc-certified rest to endure - make the most of it and future-you will really thank you for it.
- WoH: Professor MOTHRA
Am home! Doc says looks good, went well, and he got all of the tumor he could. He also said it looks like normal tissue and he'd be surprised if the pathology came back bad. Woot!
Sometime around 3am when my brain was pondering today's procedure while simultaneously trying to remember a lyric from “Some Night in Bangkok” a snippet of a conversation my doc had with the scheduling nurse came back to me. She: Do you want the rep there? Him: Yes, schedule the rep. At the same time I remembered how opposed to this procedure he...
had been at my first visit, stating grandly “I can do it but I’ll just end up charging you for two procedures when you have to come back for a hysterectomy”. And I recalled that he had originally said myomectomy and was now saying MyoSure. I’m guessing that someone has a new toy and I’m about to be the guinea pig.

I have decided I need some new music ... thinking Phillip Phillips
Also, doc says no food / water 8 hours prior...hospital says none after midnight (the no water thing is gonna kill me), must take a shower tonight AND tomorrow morning with antibacterial soap, no make up, deodorant or powder (and Im working tomorrow morning) AND they cant tell me if the anestesiologist is on my insurance or not!!!
- Shannon - GlassMistress
Insurance problems at this stage are the worst. And it's always the anesthesiologist.
- Eric - seven eleven
I had a friend who suffered a heart attack ... everything was covered except the anesthesiologist. I think it cost him around 10k out of pocket!
- Shannon - GlassMistress
I had a friend who had a scheduled surgery (non-emergency) and they too provided an anesthesiologist who was not on her plan. She in turn told them that they knew what insurance she had, therefore they knew who would and would not be covered by her insurance and that she would under no circumstance pay for their mistake. They adjusted her bill accordingly. Same thing happened with one...
