We’re taking our first steps into the world of Mainstream Media today. At approximately 4:40 PM EST, I’ll be on the radio talking about the opening of a new Apple store here in Ottawa, Ontario, and what the opening means to consumers. Should be a great time. We’re hoping it turns into the first of many appearances in mainstream media for us. It’s pretty exciting times here at Macgasm.

FriendFeed is increasingly becoming a popular social media tool for being a social aggregator with community features. It was one of the first to use the “Like” functionality that more and more web sites (e.g. Facebook, Digg, Seesmic, etc.) are adopting. Additionally, FriendFeed has built a social community that allows you to quickly find an answer to any kind of question that you ask, or get to know other people who share similar interests.
