I just cant come up with another solution. There is no need to rehabilitate a person that would kidnap a child and murder her/him. Putting the assailant in jail solves nothing and costs 100's of thousands of dollars. Doing the death row thing is more expensive, which to me makes no sense. Similar could be said of T-Mobile in the UK and their refusal to allow any kind of wifi/3g VOIP on their android phones even though it wouldn't lose them any revenue - anyone who has a G1 on T-mobile most likely got the contract option which gives more free minutes than most people use anyway - Slappy Line

Cross-network calls are normally included in most packages free minutes now, and as most people have mobiles it's easier to call mobile to mobile than landline to mobile. Of course if you only have a landline and you need to call someone on their mobile, your first words should be "landline, call me back. bye." - Slappy Line

Here I can call anyone on my mobile network for free at any time. My plan gives me 1200 mins a month for other networks. It also gives me 10 favorite numbers I can add in, that are free at any time. Adding my skype to go number, means I can call the UK from my mobile at no extra cost, as long as it's a landline. I haven't had any overage charges in years, and we don't have a landline at all now - that would be a waste of money, and AT&T are expensive too. - Ian May
