I like "the normalization of social media" part. Although I think some day Facebook is going to die of success. Here in Spain, even the clumsiest computer illiterate now has a FB account. That reminds me of myspace. Some day somebody else is going to rise upon this monster and come out with something more interesting. Maybe Google, who knows. Friendfeed had, or better said, still has what it takes to make social communication more interesting, without the karmas, the hugs, the birthdays and the contests. It is a pity, it is absorbed by the mediocrity that prevails in bigger communities like FB. - Carlos Lorenzo
