you make an excellent point in that you really cannot compare the two. When I first joined mixx, I thought it was supposed to be the next digg. Once I saw the power of the various groups I realized it is basically ning for digg without the porn.

@Shey yeah, it violates their Terms of Service, which they actually enforce.

Excellent. To me Mixx's image has a cleaner, more sophisticated look than Digg. A good way to go you think?
