Salem, who has 50 convictions, was unable to stand trial on a charge of false imprisonment apparently because of the injuries Hussain inflicted. He received a two-year supervision order. However, he has since been charged with credit card fraud. - Shey

Inflicting injury in self-defense may be necessary, but it's not self-defense anymore if you have to chase the robber down before beating him. - Bird-botts

I agree that chasing someone and beating them down within an inch of their life, while cathartic, is not just. But, for the robber not to have gotten convicted of at least the original crime seems completely ridiculous to me. - SAM
