Clive Owen in Closer; Ed Norton in The Painted Veil; early Gary Oldman. A kooky list, I know.
- Donna Mugavero
Christian Slater, Hard Harry Hardon, Pump up the Volume.. reminds me so much of podcasting. That is if I had to pick another male. For pure comedy value it'd have to be Pee Wee Herman! ;P
- alphaxion
I know this is television, but House.
- Bonnie Dean
the lead man Ryan Reynolds plays in Definitely, Maybe. or Just Friends.
- Krista K
Robert Downey Jr. Tony Stark. Iron Man.
- Krista K
Taye Diggs in How Stella Got her Groove Back & Matthew McConaughey in Contact.
- Admiral Anika
My wife really is in love with House, too. I don't get it.
- Bret Taylor
+1 Abby. I love just about all the male leads on TB. Lafayette in the gold thong, FTW.
- Derrick
Oh yeah, Jack Shepard from Lost. I'm loving that action too.
- Derrick
Sayid is hot, but conflicted, and his taste in women (the whiner) kinda sucked. OK: Edward Norton's character in the Painted Veil: huzzah!
- anna sauce
Ew, none of the guys in Lost. Well, Jin got hot once his hair grew out. Curly-headed Koreans FTW!
- Admiral Anika
Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting, and if we're talking Lost I'm going to say a probably unpopular one -- Charlie Pace.
- heather ♥s fauns on mars.
King Namor, the Sub-Mariner. Just think how agile and strong he must be; unlike regular human males, this guy has THREE ways of getting around: swimming, flying (with tiny wings on his ankles, even), AND walking...and he does all three well! And being a comic book character, you know they draw him very well-formed!
- MiniMage TKDteacher of FF
Gary Oldman, Sirius Black, Harry Potter's Azkaban ;) From Lost I teeter between Sawyer and Jack. Sawyer's a bad boy with a heart of gold but Jack is a doctor with a dark side....
- Zulema ◕ ◡ ◕
Jude Law as either Alfie in Alfie or the Gigolo robot in AI or Andy Garcia as Vincent Mancini in The Godfather III
- Jennifer Marie Sandbank
James McAvoy. He's been snubbed twice for an Oscar as far as I'm concerned.

If I were a writer/director, I'd create a vehicle around Roshan Seth, who is mesmerizing when he's not given bit parts (http://www.imdb.com/name...) -- check him out, for example, In "London Kills Me" or "MIssissippi Masala"
- Stephen Mack
I agree about Jeffrey Wright. Also Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sophie Okenedo and maybe even Anne Hathaway even though she is now getting more pub.
- Amani
Sorry, but neither Gary Oldman nor Edward Norton, both terribly talented, are under-rated. And Norton has been Oscar-nominated for both Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor.
- Rick Powell
I LOVE Pat and Sarsgaard is a very brave actor, as well. But Clarkson has been Oscar-nominated so she's disqualified. (SO easy to forget who's been nominated, isn't it?)
- Rick Powell
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I get the action awesomeness, but as a whole movie it didn't work for me.
- Vinay | विनय
Jerry Maguire and High Fidelity (the latter was a near miss for me)
- Caffeinated Sue
Matrix or LotR. Star Wars, though I've never really seen it (was dragged to two, fell asleep in the first 10 minutes of both) so hard to say I don't "like" it.
- Alix Whitmire
Lord of the Rings trilogy. I'm just not into that type of epic fantasy. I'm more of a sci-fi fan, though I do like some fantasy stuff, like Stardust and Mirrormask. Also, in general I'm not a fan of any of the Star Wars movies, new or old. I kind of like the original Star Wars movies as far as a little bit of nostalgia, but really if I never watched any of those movies again, I wouldn't care.
- Cheryl Jones
ditto Superbad. I thought the concept of the movie was probably better than the execution, in which it became Revenge of the Nerds. Sort of.
- Rick Powell
JoEllen, some movies are valued as much for the historical contexts in which they were released as for their contents. Most people can't stand Un Chien Andalou but it is one of the most important films released in the 20th century. Heck, protesters firebombed the cinema which was trying to show L'Age d'Or. Not trying to disqualify your opinion; just felt compelled to defend because I'm a big dumb movie nerd.
- Akiva Moskovitz
Just reminded me of 'They Call Me Bruce' Loved that one.
- Rodfather
But Terence, *everyone* loves Fargo.
- Vinay | विनय
Probably the Matrix sequels. I don't *love* them compared to The Matrix, but I don't think they're as horrible as people make them out to be.
- Cheryl Jones
Phantoms. "Affleck, you were the bomb in Phantoms, yo!"
- rachel
Sorry Brian...I like the campy breakdancing movies as awful as they are acting-wise. Plus, you didn't actually think I was "all there" to begin with, right? o_O
- Josh Haley
L4S - you see the South Park tribute to the ultimate fight scene on They Live. shot for shot, longest fight ever. Hilarious. The SP ep was Cripple Fight.
- Josh Haley
Everyone hates Money Train? I liked it.
- Rick Powell
Speed Racer was a real trip and certainly more successful than the last Matrix movie. I liked Spider Man 3 and have been surprised that most Americans hated it. It was popular in Central Europe.
- Rick Powell
I don't think I have a single favorite, because now that I think about it, Shawshank Redemption is pretty up there...as well as Blood Sport, Enter The Dragon, and Last Dragon
- Rahsheen ™, Coach Rah
Impossible question, too many to choose from, too many moods and genres.
- LogEx
As I mentioned in a different movie thread, When Harry Met Sally is one of my favorites. I can't pick just one... I also love to rewatch Office Space and The Matrix. WarGames is a great nostalgic favorite.
- Cheryl Jones
Sunshine (sci-fi movie from director of 28 Days Later).
- Kol Tregaskes
OK so you will likey kick me out of the room but: It's A Wonderful Life is my favorite. Did not say it was the greatest I just luv the movie.
- R. Ferguson
Kenley was one of my favorites but she is beginning to really annoy me. She's acting out her insecurities by ridiculing others and that just makes her seem so young & childish. Laughing while they were critiquing Joe was just rude even if his outfit was horrible.
Agreed. In the first few weeks she was my fave but now I kinda want to smack her. Also, am I the only one who didn't think Suede's outfit was that bad? The way they were talking about it, I felt like I must be looking at the wrong person or something.
- Shannon Jiménez
Seriously when did she become such a brat? Next week it looks like she's going to go too far. No one messes with the GUNN.
- rachel
I think they are also editing Kinley bad.
