Today I miss the tech world. Like really miss it. Problem of having two things you really enjoy and love doing I guess.

Day off today. Back to crewing tomorrow. Both kids sick. Hope they are better tomorrow. Hard to be away from them when they are sick :(

Working in crews with rotating positions is great on so many levels. Can't wait to producer (now) and do sound (next shoot). #nyu

It was incredible being director - the adrenaline, the decision making, the working with the actors. But now, I'm ready to be producer. :)

The T-Mobile network in NYC was down for over an hour... Weird.

Apparently the population of New York decided two years ago to only have boys. Every pre-school has limited/no openings for 2-yr boys. @%#^!

Getting excellent sound advice from @mdeii. In this case excellent and sound are not used as synonyms.

@mdeii Seriously. For a 702T and a bunch of mics why such enormous boxes? We do have a cardoid, shotguy, zep, lav, wireless lav.

@mdeii 702T has nice bag. Take that and the mics and backpack and leave the heavy plastic foam padded boxes at home.

@mdeii All outdoors. Shotgun better than cardoid for atmos? Why lose wireless lavs (2)? No dialog! so just breathing. They are CUs - wild?

@mdeii We're mostly doing wild sound. Sync is just 2-5 takes. Seems like the equipment is over the top, no? :) Oh, and boom pole of course

@mdeii Yeah, atmos too. I was thinking cardoid for atmos. Shotgun for footsteps (sync) and wireless lav for breathing (sync).
