The Red Bull team have taken over Formula One in the past few years, working up from the playful party team to a seriously dominant force. Wrapping up their third title in 2012, the team were untouchable - particularly compared to the scrappy fight for the drivers' championship that unfolded throughout the season. With the quick and challenging Sebastian Vettel on board, and the consistent, experienced race-craft from Mark Webber, it's no wonder the team have made their way to three World Championships in a row.

Drivers made the most of a completely dry day today, with the sun shining over the Barcelona circuit from start to finish. Kimi Räikkönen couldn't bask in the sunshine, as he was unwell with a stomach bug and unable to participate. Lotus gave reserve driver Davide Valsecchi 16 laps in the morning, but asked Romain Grosjean to fly back from Paris to take over the afternoon session.

The final week of pre-season testing is over the hump and heading to its conclusion, with just two more days of track time left. We've had our fair share of ups and downs, team malfunctions, driver swaps, and changeable weather conditions, but we may finally have two days of pure testing ahead.

It's been a long time coming, but we finally have a full line up for the 2013 season. 22 available seats, and every one of them filled by one driver. It was Force India that held us up for most of the time, keeping their options open between Adrian Sutil and Jules Bianchi. The announcement that Sutil got the drive took most by surprise, and for all of 24 hours we were feeling bad for the ousted Frenchman.

From the bottom of the timesheets yesterday, Lotus managed to claw their way back up to the top, posting the fastest time by just a few tenths of a second. Romain Grosjean finished up his pre-season testing by squeezing in a fast lap in between the rain showers that littered the day. Jenson Button posted the second fastest time for McLaren, with Pastor Maldonado behind in the Williams.
