"Galactica: 1980 is coming back from the television grave - or, at least, from almost 30 years ago - courtesy of Green Lantern movie writer Marc Guggenheim and comic publisher Dynamite Entertainment. The new series, announced yesterday at the Wizard World Philadelphia comic convention, will be a "re-imagining" of the controversial spin-off series of the original BSG, in which the Galactica reached Earth, only to discover that it's 1980 and they have to defend the planet against cylons and disco."
