"The research, based on figures that show the majority of bankrupts under 24 are now female, concluded that women succumb to the temptation for spending sprees as they assert their independence. Last year 55 per cent of young bankrupts were female, compared to 48 per cent five years ago. Meh, it's not even the advertising. It's about dating. Add up the cost of hair cuts, waxing, lasering, flat irons, french manicures and tips, plus the tan and the clothes that so many girls think they have to go through to get a date, and it's an absurd proposition. - FFing Enigma
