Also, if you have bought a laptop to replace an older one that happened to have a borked screen, don't forget that they can and will run without the screen. Hook up a normal monitor to the video out and deploy somewhere in your house for a small, quiet(er) TVPC. :) - alphaxion

i used to do warranty work for one of the bigger lappy companies in australia. it's kinda fun. you just have to remember where everything goes when you put it back together. inside them they're not as difficult as they used to be.. - Terry O'Fee
