I have finally figured out why my job satisfaction is less than optimal: I can't listen to music while I am working.

I say this all the time. I don't know what it is, but work goes by faster, is more pleasant and that which we don't want to do is more tolerable when music is on in the background. At least for me.

I almost asked another department to put me back on hold to listen to the music. Clearly, I need to start bringing my mp3 player to work so that I can listen during breaks and lunch.
