Stupid Nvidia driver won't stay set to 1440 x 900. Keeps defaulting to 800 x 600 every time I need to reboot. So, like a noob, I manually edited the xorg.conf file incorrectly. WHAM. No video. ... Ah, it's back up now. It's just a pain in the ass to fix.

Hmm. My own monitor (A Samsung 204b) doesn't get autodetected, but that's only an issue when I do a reinstall from scratch (So I need to manually enter the resolutions and frequency settings). But mere upgrades have always worked fine.
