You know, the reason why I'm skeptical is that they basically have only two options: Either they promote someone who is already at the upper end of the GM hierarchy and most likely was part of the decision making processes that got GM where it is today; or they send in an outsider who's not familiar with GM's inner workings. Either way I don't see much potential for a rapid turnaround.
