Thought Experiment: Imagine the number of sites that linked to or embedded this User Generated Content in the heat of the moment, the number of Adword and other embeds in the margins of those sites, the number of clickthroughs attributable solely to those specific visits, the number of new sites discovered by others solely due to @jkrums content. We have no mechanism for effectively measuring and capturing that value for @jkrums we just "fake it" with some random
types "doing the right thing" ... sometimes. -
Add to this the elements that are utterly Transcendent of markets, and you'll perhaps see the magnitude of the changes ahead of us not in Ten Year, but This Year, 2009 and beyond.
