actually, higlet, i guess people have thought of that but it turns out earthworms can carry some disease! i sure wish i could sic her on some of the ants around here. Rochelle, they're omnivorous foragers. technically they are insectivores, but they eat more than just worms and bugs.

she enjoys cooked chicken, cooked kernel corn, cooked carrots. And apples. She LOVES this organic applesauce i got from Trader Joe's. And certain baby foods. :)

Thanks for posting, LANjackal. I've been telling my crowd before this how fast this is going to happen and the PC market for mainstream is going to drop. What that will do to the price for developers is anybody's guess but I expect to see it go up as mainstream buyers shift away.

I love my Zune HD. It's a shame that they don't have more dough for advertising & marketing cause it is a rocking device (hey, it's not just me - many of the trade rags & blogs reviewed it very highly). The idea of a 64GB one is very intruiging to me as mine is only 16GB (it was a gift).

Just got a Netflix job alert - not one I'm qualified for, but it's for a User Interface Engineer for Mobile Platforms. Sounds like they're serious about branching out into maybe putting Instant Watch on Apple/Android/Windows 7 phones?

I'm assuming that it might depend on those other platforms supporting Silverlight.

That could be. I was thinking by building a standalone app they might be able to circumvent Apple's lack of support for non-Apple streaming formats, but due to content provider DRM requirements, that may not be so easy. :/ I know they're interested in it, though; they were running surveys about it a few weeks back. With the iPad coming, I think they have to be.
