I like the puzzles and tasks that are available in the cities that you travel to. In that second shot, you see the sim having to move a statue around in order to solve the puzzle that will open the door to continue exploring the museum.
- Yolanda
Since we have installed Windows 7, it has been running much slower :( I still try to play, though.
- Michelle Martinez
That first pic almost had me fooled. Pretty convincing. Sims is amazing these days. What Anika said.
- Kamilah Gill
MM, how much RAM? maybe a memory upgrade is in order (it's cheap)
- mjc
Whoa, I don't think I've played in at least a month. :( eta: Looking back at my last post here, I'd say it was closer to two months. >.<
- Penguin It's Cold Outside
Penguin, I played today, and you and Yolanda were in front of the court house protesting. I have no idea why.
- Michelle Martinez
I had to reinstall Vista on my PC... had to wipe out everything. I haven't loaded you guys back in yet.
- Yolanda
I stopped playing because it made the laptop run so hot. I could smell burning. Now that the laptop screen and half the keyboard is dead, I have nothing to play on.
- Admiral Anika
2.50GB usable because you are on 32-bit windows. you need to be on 64-bit windows to be able to use it all. This would have been the same under XP or Vista 32bit. I find win7 to be uncomfortable for games with 2GB or less and no other apps running other than the game... and I haven't used a 32bit OS on a 64bit machine since 2003 and I can't imagine any reason to do that

Alas...I am a Sims addict without a computer that could support the game. Instead of weeping for my loss I will rejoice at the joy that others derive from hours of game play.
- Tammy Marshall
:-) I've not played it for a while now, very addictive. :-)
- Kol Tregaskes
When I first bought Sims 2, I made my entire family. It took me quite awhile. We moved into our new house and within 15 minutes I got set on fire by the oven and died. I was nothing more than a pile of ashes in the middle of the kitchen floor. It took, me a long time to find myself because I didn't know how to rotate the room. Every time one of my sons or my husband went into the...

What, that I'm a Sims addict? I can't play it anymore. I get too carried away. I did talk my son into buying my granddaughter a laptop for her birthday so she could use it play Sims 3 - and leave my laptop alone! When she comes back to visit, I'll see if she'll let me play on hers! (I only have Sims 2.) I have a feeling it will be a difficult negotiation. She is much more addicted that I am!

Oh my gosh Kimber, I think I would cry. I've lost families that I've forgotten to save and it has caused me to put the game away for quite a while. I can't imagine what it would be like if I put so much effort into creating my own family only to lose them. I've been addicted since TS1; my little sister played it and was invited to the launch party of the first expansion pack and even...

I've been playing, but it is harder not using the cheat. You actually have to go to work. I can't stay home and socialize all day, therefore no pictures.
- Michelle Martinez
Am I in there? Looks like Matt has the hots for Anika.
- anna sauce
Looks like Rodfather is heart broken over a guy in shades... Rah?
- anna sauce
Rodfather, Haha, no overalls, but still talking about fishing. Always talking about fishing.
- Michelle Martinez
anna, No, I think you moved. I need to drop you back in the game.
- Michelle Martinez
:( (disappointment at not being at party) it's ok. If you think of it, that'd be fun.
- anna sauce
Penguin havin' the babies, Mo & Colette co-habiting, an old Penguin in stripey socks, old Yolanda makes a brief appearance, Sean as old & single & unemployed... Matt Ruiz & son,

For those of you who want to try out The Sims 3 but don't have it you can try - http://simsocial.thesims3.com/ -- Not exactly true to the game.. but it's a 'bite-size' version.
Just keep putting her in? I put her in twice (in the big pool in the 28 hour gym) and she just floated by the ladder a minute then got back out. >.<
- Penguin It's Cold Outside
It She'll most eventually, you should fast forward time, and it will.
- Matt Ruiz
But she's a penguin. It should just happen
- Rodfather
if she has no athletic ability she may just float.
- anna sauce
Maybe take a class at the gym? That should give you the first athletic point
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
A class in swimming, or just any class? I can't remember off the top of my head, but she does have at least one or two athletic points.
- Penguin It's Cold Outside
when my sim is hungry/tired/etc they get out that pool right quick.
- anna sauce
I sent her to the gym right after a full night's sleep and breakfast, and I think most of her other meters were fine. I'll have to give it another shot next time I play. Stupid non-swimming Penguin.
- Penguin It's Cold Outside
After getting promoted in a job with a night shift the Sim will only receive the day off if their next shift starts within 8 hours. Exporting and Sharing a Level 10 Gardener Sim properly maintains their special abilities. - Click the link for more.

Yeah I noticed that weird promotion- schedule thingie.

Crackho Wacko on her plot- meeting Sean, finding Krynsky living next door with wtih two ladies, with Brent, (who has a child with Sean), and a cute picture of Brent & Sean working out.
I started a new game in the river town, and didn't cheat this time. I can't socialize nearly as much because I am in the journalism career and constantly reading or writing to advance.
- Michelle Martinez
And Mark is in the science career as a test subject and Rasheen is unemployed.
- Michelle Martinez
So my crack-ho sim got to the top of her career goal, and got the little gnome. Her bf kicked it over, and she died. I've never really encountered the garden gnome. Is this what he does? Kills someone in the house?
Just playing my normal game right now, but if this works well enough I'll start broadcasting the "Sims World" house tomorrow evening
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
Ugh, sorry. My internet keeps dropping so probably going to cut this tonight. I need to get on the phone and yell at some sorry fucking Time Warner tech support assholes.
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
This is the simulated story of seven strangers picked to live in a house and have their lives taped to find out what happens when people stop being polite, and start being Sims. THE SIMS WORLD: FRIENDFEED!
EPISODE 101: NEW SUBSCRIBERS. In the premiere episode of The Sims World: FriendFeed: The roommates move into their swanky new pad, friendships are made, romance blooms between two roomies, and everyone enjoys some sweet guitar tunes. But who's the final roommate? Featuring Sean "Haggis" Loyless, Simply X (Christian), Yolanda, Anna, Penguin, and Kol Tregaskes. (30 minutes) (Pilot)
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
Hahaha, welcome to my new Sims project. What I plan to do is let the Sims go completely free will, and I'm just going to take screenshots and note what happens. I will only intervene if I want to send them specific places, or put them in situations and then set them loose. For now I'm only planning on maybe 1-2 of these "episodes" a week.
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
Sad I'm not invited :'( Maybe next season LOL
- Matt Ruiz
Aww, don't sweat it Matt. It was tough narrowing down the list to 7 people! Everyone that's not in the house is still in the neighborhood, so there will be cameo's by other FFers. :D
- Haggis (Sean Loyless)
It's kind of cute in an evil way, you can "have evil drink" "evil slumber" and you get hapy when people die, or people are disappointed, etc. When you troll the web you get disappointed when you're not kicked out of newsgroups. The evil character is fun (crackho's bf is evil).
