"SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A federal judge has ruled there's sufficient evidence to allow a polygamous family made famous by a reality TV show to pursue a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Utah's bigamy law. U.S. District Judge Clark Waddoups on Friday dismissed Utah's governor and attorney general from the case, but allowed the suit to proceed against Utah County Attorney Jeffrey Buhman, the Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune report."

Imma start a Sister Wives drinking game. Every time someone says, "we're starting over," DRINK. Every time Downtown Kody Brown says it is "ridiculous" that they are all in 4 houses, DRINK!
I like it when Kody gets a dumbfounded look after he tried to pit the wives against each other and they all join up and give him the smackdown. It seemed to happen a lot in the last episode.

He used to be in 'advertising sales'...I think they all left their jobs to move for a reason I'm becoming less and less sure about.
- joey
They were threatened with prosecution in Utah, so they moved to Vegas.
- Mary Carmen
I wonder if this show is what keeps them afloat financially.
- Anne Bouey
But see, I'm not sure about their timelines...Utah came out and said they didn't want to prosecute because they didn't want to risk a challenge to the law (and Kody said something about this in some interview). And now the Browns are suing Utah for emotional distress. But I mean...they did this public show, etc. Not that I think they should live in fear, but it just seems strange. And then they seemed shocked in the last season finale that Vegas was mildly scandalous.

I bet they make a decent amount from the show. Think how much Kate plus 8 made.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I mean, because I am so trustful of reality television. But it seems so cruel to uproot your family and split them apart just for a show. Some of the wives seemed more rational than that.

I'm pretty sure one of these kids will become a serial killer
- Mary Carmen
So far they seem startlingly well-adjusted considering (except Robyn's kids seem rather trying but I guess they got uprooted the most).
- joey
Some of the kids expressed a firm disinterest in living this lifestyle themselves which disheartened the moms.
- Anne Bouey
Okay except I can't believe that these people homeschooled. Robyn told them all to make a big 'Y' for Wyoming when they were taking a photo there.
- joey
Anne, from what I've read only Meri's daughter is interested in it and the others are just like 'whatever, guys.'
- joey
So there's hope for the current generation.
- Anne Bouey
I never understood why they were afraid of the police. He isn't a bigamist.

I think the kids think it is bullshit and see how it actually hurts their moms. Also, they are teenagers, wtf do they know about relationships?
- Mary Carmen
Laura, in Utah it doesn't matter; they can prosecute you for living with another woman as though she is a wife.

I think since the move, they are all looking a little worse for wear. But, I agree, Kody's hair is out of control.

They have all gained weight. Also, and maybe this is gross, but have you noticed how they are all sporting cold sores? I guess they do share everything.
- Mary Carmen
I wish I could watch this season :( I'm addicted now.
- joey
In last night's episode, they all started going to the gym.

I admit, sometimes I love the sisterhood they share on the show...but I think I might feel a lot of negative pressure if I had to start dieting with the other women my husband had a relationship with.
