At first, I was thinking the adultery was that he cheated on her, but then I realized that they also consider any sex outside of marriage to be adultery. If he had cheated though, then she'd have nothing to do with his adultery and it would be all the more absurd. I've seen news reports of them doing that kind of thing though. - Tanath
