@docpi when are you near my part of the world?
Tobacco, Africa, ice cream. Let's just say my professional interests are.. Varied.
Midnight biz discussions at Boathouse are going from quotations for billboards in West Africa, to polka dot designs for ice cream cups. Heh.
@tjtee hey drop me a line if you need any help with the POS and cashiering stuff. I spent several mths doing this 12h a day.
I suspect I might morph into one of those dykes with doggies at Boathouse.

Mad, mad rain in Subang.
@mrvaidya oh, seems like an issue with Textile, a markup tool I used to use back in the day. needs a plugin. seems not functioning now.
@jayna @NonTeoh working on it (driving, and car-acquiring)!
@tandmark aleppo has some of the most amazing food in the middle east. really wonderful. i like damascus a lot too.
@jademasquerade OMG OMG WHERE?!
@tandmark have heard good things about the Beit Wakil. Dallal House. Lots of similar heritage places being converted, can't rem the rest.
Mad week ahead. Feels like the final push to some kind of door (wish I knew what) before the year is up. Need faith, coffee, and hugs.
I haz seen Sarah Shahi pole-stripping or whatever they call it (thanks to @jademasquerade) and I think I canz die now.
@tandmark i find the same food in syria to be heavier on spice and flavours, which i like. also more bang for $ (leb=>$$). but all gd!
I am succeeding in my plan to 'get out more'. No such problem in SG, but in Malaysia my lack of transportation does my head in.
@tandmark i suggest you stay in one of those nice boutique heritage hotels in aleppo, and go sit at the Baron's bar.
@tandmark i'm not an expert, but all those cuisines are levantine and thereby similar; however same dishes have diff preparation.
Only thing I miss about cold weather: no ants or mosquitoes. I hate mosquitoes. *slaps my arm*
@nimbupani thank you :)
Need to meet more people, do more things, start being active in the (artsy) scene, and meet more people. KL is small, but too sprawling.
@tandmark yup. totally not worth the US$50, which would buy you a nice lovely boutique hotel in Aleppo's old quarters though. great bar.
