Wow. I think I may have found a new sport to follow. (Tho elite gymnastics has body/eating and age issues liek whoa. NCAA-level isn't as bad AFAICT.)

from FFHound(roid)!
credo fosse per parti di codice nativo x86 + i team di chrome e android non hanno mai collaborato (non per antipatie :P), ma non sono sicuro

From the video description: "Here you go: metronomes (or "pendula") when on table, oscillate with random phases, since that is how they started and they are "uncoupled" (no energy/information flows from one to other so they do not "know" each other.) When they are all together on the cans, notice that the cans themselves oscillate little, providing coupling/information crossover. which forces "synchronization" in periodic systems (discovered by Huygens in 17th century)."

LOL! I actually play Cityville and Cafe World off and on, but I couldn't get into Mafia World at all. It would be nice if Facebook made it easier for my friends to permanently turn off posts from my games. I can't always remember who's playing or not.
- Rahsheen?
You can hide all from whichever game you don't want to see. I haven't been offered cupcakes or lonely deer, or asked to whack Johnny Two-Fingers, for a very long time.
- Jenthemum
I know individuals can do it, but they often are not sure how or never bother. They'd rather message me directly. Hasn't happened often, but enough to make me think it's not clear how to do it.
- Rahsheen?
You could message a tutorial to everyone: "Don't want to see game notifications? Click that x in the upper right corner and hide all from the game. Make sure you don't hide all from me- because you know you love me."
- Jenthemum
Yeah, I have definitely contemplated doing something like that.
- Rahsheen?
I want to see your cityville notifications. I just started playing. It's the only game I play in FB. I don't know why I started. I will probably regret it. The boy loves it, though.

I wish friendfeed was still independent. I prefer it to both facebook, twitter, and google+, but don't spend much time here any more. Amazing that without a lot of new development, it's still a superior service to those others.
Damn thing is super fast! Great amount of space on it. All my apps work. BIG SUPER CLEAR Screen!

It will be rooted in the next few weeks, once I am sure the phone is good for me and the Rooting tool is genuine and not going to fubar my new phone.

Fits nicely in my big paws, and is THIN! Reminds me of the Razr's.

Battery life is so far really good, but will find out more as I use it more.

I was thinking of getting one, but I really love my EVO.
- Anika
Well the EVO is wonderful phone. I tried the Sprint Nexus and it didn't pass muster. ThisEpic touch 4g, though.. Damn its so fast. Has so many options (tilt motion on the phone, 5.1 sound with earphone jack, and runs all the apps) its proving a worthy replacement.
- Me
Have had the phone on all day and it has reached only 50% of battery. Pretty good so far. :D

OK found the 1st issue. Sprint installed proxy settings that forces all websites that are not approved to go to mobile version of a website.

After going through a bad breakup, a woman in her late 20s moves in with three single guys. Cast: Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Lamorne Morris, and Hannah Simone.

From Fox's May 2011 press release: "NEW GIRL is a new single-camera comedy from Liz Meriwether ('No Strings Attached') that features a young ensemble cast and takes a fresh and outrageous look at modern male/female relationships. JESS DAY (Zooey Deschanel, '(500) Days of Summer') is an offbeat and adorable girl in her late 20s who, after a bad breakup, moves in with three single guys....

If you have a TiVo DVR, you don't have to wait until tonight: This one is already on your box, if you go to the "Showcases" menu, you can watch it right now.
- Stephen Mack #TeamMomo
We watched it last night, and I thought of all the sit-coms thus far, this one is pretty good. There were a couple good chuckles, but I fear that Zooey's quirkyness will wear really really thin.
- Steve and 4 other people
I recorded it, hoping to watch it this evening...
- Georgia
(As someone who actually *did* this - moved in with a gaggle of guys after a breakup - I thought the pilot was amusing. The quirk won't hold for more than a few episodes though. Also, I did not have model friends, just regular friends. :P )

Akiva's gun will be starring alongside Charlie Sheen and Candace Bergen in one of Fox's mid-season replacements, about a mysterious island in the '60s where a never-ending talent show is held: X-BULLET FACTOR ISLAND IDOL.

It's my dream to move into a house full of really pithy gay men after a breakup. Obviously I will not be the perky one in the household.
- Hookuh Tinypants
I liked the premise of the show, but she bugged the living bejeezus out of me.
- holly #ravingfangirl
They showed it on our JetBlue flight last week, and it was a free PPV option in our hotel. Whoever was charged with promoting the pilot really got it out everywhere.
- Kevin Fox
We watched it in the hotel room. It was okay, though I like Zooey's signature character better when she's empowered (as in "(500) Days of Summer") more than the awkward and inept character she plays in New Girl. I love the Douchebag Jar though.
- Kevin Fox
We watched the first 10 minutes after Glee. I liked it! I think once they get into their groove it'll be a hit.

"In 2010, the cost of putting two children in child care exceeded the median annual rent payments in every single state, according to a recent report by the National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies, or NACCRRA. "It defies logic," said Linda Smith, NACCRRA's executive director. As more families are priced out of licensed child care services, the health and safety of those children are put in jeopardy, she said."

Yeah, I don't get how people can afford to have kids these days.
- Stephen Mack #TeamMomo
I attribute much of the childcare expense increase to stricter laws (class size maximums, facility requirements, etc.) making commercial childcare more expensive. But I don't have any data to back that up.
- Brian Johns
I'm trying to think if I've ever known anyone who used licensed childcare as a parent or as a child themselves. I'm coming up with a big no.
- Soup in a TARDIS
Soup - My sister did for her kids. It cost more than having someone watch them out of their home, but the program had a lot of extras that made it worth it for her and the kids.
- Katy S
We use a big daycare chain part of the week. If we had 2 or more children it wouldn't make sense.
- Brian Johns
What I meant is, we use a daycare center that is part of a chain of daycare centers. Not an actual steel chain in place of daycare. I just wanted to clear that up.
- Brian Johns
I think they should ammend the article to read "the cost of putting ONE child in child care"...our little man is in a center based daycare/preschool that costs more each month than we paid in rent at our last apartment (granted, he's at the infant cost, and it will go down as he gets older, but still...).

A thumb drive that plugs in to USB on one end, and has an open USB plug on the other, so it doesn't take up a USB port.
- Kevin Fox
Ah... Yep. Not a bad idea. I'm guessing not enough use case?
- SAM
I thought it was swallowable. Couldn't figure out the purpose - maybe like one of them video things you poop out after they go through your system.

"The Deglon Meeting Knife, designed by Mia Schmallenbach, is a set of sculptural, nested knives (priced, alas, as sculptures, at $600 for the set). The proportions of the four nested knives -- paring knife, carving knife, chef’s knife and filleting knife -- are "determined by the Fibonacci sequence with as its base the average width of a hand.""
