I liked all the Star Wars prequels. I also didn't go in demanding to be magically transported back to my youth #RealisticExpectations
While I am happy for you, I very much disliked them. But that's just my opinion. - Friar Will (:^)
I remember being so excited. We bought the full soundtrack and all that. It was alright, but yeah, it didn't recreate youthful experiences. I still love the score though. - Eric
I liked parts, didn't like others. On balance, I didn't hate them, but am in no rush to watch them again. I felt like the whole thing lingered on stuff I wasn't interested in, and glossed over the stuff that I was. - Jennifer Dittrich
I knew from the very start with the behind-the-scenes website stuff that this was the Star Wars of my nephews, not mine. Take away the nostalgia and the hype and in my opinion Episode 4-6 aren't great cinematic masterpieces when compared to the full catalogue of films ever made, but they are hyper-cult. - Johnny from iPhone
i didn't care for how most of the prequels looked like computer games. EP3 was possibly the worst, which is strange. - Joe The Sausage
I was indifferent. Although I thought Darth Maul was cool. That little boy is annoying though. - Derrick
Yeah, he shit me too :) - Johnny from iPhone
If it wasn't for the kid I could stomach episode I.. I'm still trying to decide if I can get past him to see the movie in 3d. - Joe "Brrzzzzzzt" Pierce
I enjoyed Ep3, but I really disliked both Ep1 and Ep2 -- mostly due to Jar Jar, Jake Lloyd, odd pacing (such as the overlong pod racing), poor acting, general buffoonery, midi chlorians, and a bunch of other stuff. Of course, I loved Ep4 and Ep5 as a kid, but I really didn't like Ep6. And when I rewatched Ep4 a few years ago, I didn't really think it held up that well. But I still prefer 4-6 by a mile over 1-3. It's really hard to overcome the nostalgia bias I have for them. - Stephen Mack
The fight scene was pretty bad-ass. - Eric
I didn't hate them. They were visually entertaining. - Rodfather
They sound really good too. Got the box set from my brother for Christmas and whoa. - Derrick
i liked them a lot, but could have lived without jar jar binks - Morgan
Jar Jar never bothered me, I was always more disturbed by Ani and all actors thereof - Joe "Brrzzzzzzt" Pierce
UGH, forgot about Jar-Jar. The junk dealer annoyed me too. I did, however, really like all of Amidala's outfits. - Derrick
And her hair. That was a-mazing. - Jennifer Dittrich
I enjoyed Amidala too, but probably for different reasons than Derrick... Actually I liked her in the first 2 movies where she was an ass kicker, in the third one she got all timid an weird. - Joe "Brrzzzzzzt" Pierce
Thank you. I really love the Star Wars sequels, mostly because those were the first ones I saw, and Anakin/Vader is my favorite. - Colette
I liked them. I'm wasn't a huge Star Wars fan going in so I didn't have many preconceived notions about how things should be or how those films should tie into the previous ones. I just enjoyed them as movies in general. They were amazing visually, sounded incredible and had great music. The acting was just okay but the same could be said for the originals. I enjoyed them. - DB Botts - Just DB Botts
I'm not a fan, but I don't hate them. - ☆ Mellyboo ☆
*Waves hand infront of Melly's face* yes you do - Joe "Brrzzzzzzt" Pierce
Any cutsie-poo characters in Star Wars annoy me. - Mo Kargas
Of the prequels, I liked Phantom Menace, but the didn't like Attack of the Clones or Revenge of the Sith. Of course you're claim doesn't hold for me, I saw the first trilogy during the 20th anniversary remastered theatrical releases, and then the rest in theaters between the ages of 7 and 15. The sequels are still better. I <3 Jar Jar. - Jimminy, CoG of FF
I can't look at your face now Jimminy - Mo Kargas
Meesa so sorry. - Jimminy, CoG of FF
My biggest issue is they started looking way way over processed, which sucks. The environments and effects just started feeling sterile. - Jimminy, CoG of FF
Pod racing in 3D could be cool. Bantha poodoo in 3D may not - Joe "Brrzzzzzzt" Pierce
That's the thing, Joe. Lucas and Speilberg have been pushing for 3D tech for a while. If you look at Episode 1, 2, 3 and 4 (all the films Lucas directed) they have elements in them set for 3D, be it tie fighters, trench runs, pod racing, Geonosis battle etc. Empire and Return don't have that many 'coming at ya' elements in them. Lucas talked about 3D back in 1996 (3 years before Menance). - Johnny from iPhone

"Sea monsters. People are continually fascinated by them. You've got those who believe fervently that there are still undiscovered monsters of the deep, and then you have those who wonder what the monsters we've already sighted...really are. Did someone really see Nessie? Or did they really see something else? And if they saw something else, what is it likely that they saw? Well, how about a whale. And his penis." - John (bird whisperer) from Bookmarklet

How large is Skyrim's overworld? Answer: about the size of San Francisco. http://www.quora.com/The-Eld...
That's about the right thing for a game. You can see this progression from Ultima 4 to Ultima 7, which all took place in the same world, Britannia. In Ultima 4 the towns were 1 block and the distance between towns could be 50 blocks. In Ultima 6 the towns got larger and the relative distance between towns got smaller. In Ultima 7 the towns took up over a third of the map. - Amit Patel
Games should (IMO) exaggerate the interesting parts and compress the uninteresting parts. Towns in Ultima and Skyrim are small — tens of buildings, not thousands — and wilderness is compressed even more. - Amit Patel
Transport Tycoon is similar — a train can be as long as a town, and distances between towns can be 2-3 town widths instead of hundreds of town widths. It's far more interesting, but less realistic, to play this way. - Amit Patel
I'm convinced it's larger than Oblivion but a friend of mine thinks that it's smaller. I remember walking from Whiterun to all the way up to that monastery at the top of the mountain and it felt like I was walking forever. - Akiva
It feels bigger than Oblivion to me because I can't see across the map. There are mountains in the middle. In Oblivion I could see the main city from almost everywhere. - Amit Patel
Amit, my friend made that exact point today. The roads are more circuitous so it feels bigger because you can't just walk directly across the map. You have to go around things. - Akiva
