The wireless carriers are killing innovation by tiering their services. I have no problem if there was more competition, but this is idiotic.

Here's the thing about this. It could have all been prevented if the police at the jail were accountable. Officials knew about this a week before it happened. Now, any address tied to these two men have been raided, regardless if people who don't even knew these criminals or not.

As usual, it's either agent provocateurs or outright determination to get a violent response by the "authorities" at protests. Not that I agree with the reason for the protests.

Interesting take, but it's not the speculators that are at fault here. The real problem is the government feeding these speculators with free money, because right now the major speculators are the banks. Nothing wrong with speculation if it's your own money. I'd put a million on black in roulette if it wasn't my money. Nothing lost, lots to gain.

"Slice a pie into five pieces, and remove one piece. That slice represents the roughly 20 percent of clinical-care practices for which solid randomized, controlled trial evidence exists. The remaining four-fifths represent medical care delivered based upon a combination of less reliable studies, unsystematic observation, informed guesswork and conformity to prevailing treatments and procedures used by most other clinicians in a local community."

If they have flash ads or stuff that has any kind of code in it other than an image this is just going to be horrific. A huge portion of computer malware comes through flash ads, javascript, and (although rare) images with code embedded in them.
