So, how do you promote your video blogs? Any tips for the small uns? Any pitfalls that you fell into? Any ways you'd do things differently next time?
I'd recommend promoting much like a regular "text" blog - although you have the option of submitting some of your videos to sites like YouTube for further exposure. Videos are excellent in that they're very easy to share - and can become viral rather quickly. - Christian Hollingsworth
What smart boy said - your own blog and youtube, you might go to blip.tv and make a channel there, ustream, tons of places, depends on how you want to approach it. - Dan Morrill AKA Techwag

What's the best NEW music? I want a band to inspire building43. What is best? Discuss here:
I like http://www.3oh3music.com/ but it is a bit rude for some tastes. What is new and worth listening to for inspiration as we build out http://www.building43.com ? (Coming in June, by the way). - Robert Scoble

Michael: well, that was a good musical peak year! Carlton: I didn't know about thesixtyone.com so thank you, am listening to that now. - Robert Scoble
It really depends on what music your into. Some would say Lady Gaga is awesome, etc. Personally I can't come up with any new bands from the last few months. Guess I would have to sit and think on that one. - Mathew™ one of a kind
I really like listening to Sigur Ros whenever I'm working, definitely worth checking out. - Daniel Rowley

I'm hopelessly retro, so "new" for me would be Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. When I'm all alone in the car and transform into a rock and roll singer, she's the one whose vocals I most love to sing (scream, shout, growl) along to. - Kathy Fitch
Band of Skulls is a new band that I have come across. Also, the new Decemberists record is good. - Aaron Hood
In addition to Aaron Whitaker's & Carlton's suggestions I would also throw in Cymbals Eat Guitars, Bat For Lashes, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart for 'new' bands and the most recent releases by The Walkmen (been loving this for a year) and Camera Obscura also quite good... - Jeffrey Marsh
