"Glad Boulder managed to enrich your character so much, it is no doubt will help you with everything in NYC. Bon Voyage and I hope to see you again soon!"
- Stepan Mazurov
would love one if they are still available - followed you on twitter in case that was still the only way to get them out (@marconunezjr)

i'd like one! dylanpine gmail. thanks!

"Do yourself a favor and watch the videos, not only they they brilliantly recorded, produced and cut, they also provide quite a bit of substance to the whole project. Biggest thing being how open collaboration actually happens. Dan never as much said here is what you do, his answer to everything is, what do YOU want to do."
- Stepan Mazurov
"Its easy to get sick, vocal and upset about outrages in the human society when you are an observer, as the movie demonstrates through very clever mechanic of the forth wall and documentary style. When you are put in the shoes of people doing the day to day job of "fixing" and "helping" your mind, emotions and actions differ greatly. While I do not agree with the inhumane behavior we observe(d) through history and even today, I have a certain understanding that people on those situation get a pass. To put in the context of the movie, prawns did not land on earth by choice, and those who were rescued did not specifically understand and therefore unbalanced the social structure of Johannesburg, so Humans reaction towards citizens of District 9 is relatable, I do not think I would fare any better. As far as sequel goes, the flower, the promise from Alien race's "leader" and basic wondering of what happens next is more than enough to continue this amazing story without additional sequel..."

Seems neat but what's the end-of-life scenario? Can it genuinely be recycled? Most credit card things can't. Just more plastic landfill.

The value of the phrase "social media" is totally burned by thousands of idiots on twitter. I'd remove all traces of that.
- Richard Matthias
That is cool. I'd love to have one of those, though I tend to keep my social media stuff a little more anonymous so I can bullshit online with my friends and express opinions with words that I wouldn't use in a professional setting.

I was at a seminar last night at UCI http://innovationprotocol.com/seminar... last night where Sasha Strauss said "we are not there yet" as far as putting twitter/facebook on business cards. He did say on email signatures it shoudl be a must
- Nadia Flores
That stuff is like 'hey, funny... dispose'. Useless!
- // Rutger
It is actually a room key and they cost $1 each. Very awesome and memorable card.

Nadia, why are we "not there yet" as far as putting your Twitter/FB on business cards? It's a logical thing to do now, I think, when you're going to make business cards for yourself
- Andre P. Siregar
I bet he gets the "what does the mag stripe do" question every time he hands out his business card
- Andre P. Siregar
Note that hotel keycards are encoded at the front desk, so in theory you could get a clerk to encode your unlock code on your own key, but off the bat I can't think of anything you could put on the stripe that the average person would find utility in that wouldn't be a bad idea (like a credit card or drivers license data)
- Kevin Fox
I have a question: what are business cards for? What is their useful purpose?
- Mark
Mark: to give people a way to remember you and email you.

You can use Microsoft Tag on your mobile phone to link to your social media sites or upload your contact profile with all the info - no typing, just a phone with a camera.

Love all the comments about my card here! Here are some more details for those of you who might care: What you see in the picture is actually the back of the card. The front of the card has our company logo (Room 214 is the name of the company) and is almost entirely green. The card is as thick as a room key card, as you might guess. Most people's first reaction is, "wow, cool card......

have you tried +a on the fopen? Modify the first script to a+ and that should append files on write. If the data is POSTed I would also recommend switching to using ether $_POST or $_REQUEST superglobal with the correct key.
a+ appends or creates (thats what + is for) if it doesn't exist. if php doesn't create the file, change perms on the folder to write all. To test the creation/writing mechanism start with $data = implode(';',$_REQUEST); and just go to in your browser adding ?test=test&test2=test2 or whatever to the end.
- Stepan Mazurov
file perms are set to write all. added line to 1st script to test creation/writing mechanism. added string in browser, still get nothing.
- Jim Halligan @jim
er no, you want to write the $data variable, not file_get_contents('php://input');
- Stepan Mazurov
ok. my bad. got it now, that is definitely working and i can see the test in my browser.
- Jim Halligan @jim
ok, have your system write to the same script and see which variable contains the information you need, then isolating that variable and just writing that to the file.
- Stepan Mazurov
do what? I am assuming whatever is POSTing data is just sending stuff to a URL that is the script we are discussing here. If you have that service post to the url right now, you should be able to see what key in the $_REQUEST array you actually need to write, and write it instead. Change implode() line with: $data = print_r($_REQUEST, true); //2nd param, bool true makes print_r write to a string instead of output
- Stepan Mazurov
ok that makes sense. thought i was still debugging or something. pretty new to all this stuff. so thanks. i see something showing up now.
