Robert- thanks for stopping by and commenting on the post. I'm glad you enjoyed it, I had fun writing it, too. The Twitter Direct Message issue you're contending with sounds really annoying. Last week I did a roundup of 10 features Twitter should have but doesn't (http://twurl.nl/h82zwg) and one of them was to make DMs repliable-via-email. Of course, that doesn't do much good if Twitter can't even -deliver- them via email! Or are you just not getting DMs at all, even within Twitter? - Daniel Smith
